Dark orange, hazy with very little transparency. Smells of fruit, alcohol and yeast. Taste... less sweet than I expected from the aroma. Bitter with alcohol, cheese, and mild fruit flavors being most dominant. TimE (1301), Tokyo, Japan

Caramel, bready, bretta, milk chocolate mouth that is surprisingly light. Alcohol is well hidden. Hard to define style, but very enjoyable and unique. JohnnyJ (1309), Carlsbad, California, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jan 24, 2009 It’s pretty much an Americanized imperial saison, and I love it. Hazy orange/yellow pour with froth off-white head. Barnyard funk, lemon zest, cherries, apple, bread, caramel, spice, and citrus. Complex and flavorful. SpringsLicker (2042), Tennessee, USA

Spicy citrus Belgian yeast aroma.
Slightly sweet some spice. Some nice tangy Belgian characteristics to it.

Great big, fruity, leathery aroma. Brett is apparent. Flavor is fruity, a bit citrusy. Hoppy, but a bit too sweet. Regardless, I’m digging it. Pretty good for a random collaboration, and a random pickup. CaryTheDude (1113), Longmont, Colorado, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 5, 2009 750 ml bottle. Pours a very hazy antique gold with a moderate linen white head that lasted through two-thirds of the glass and left decent lace. Very pleasant aroma of yeast, caramel, and oranges. The flavor is more heavily dominated by Belgian yeast, with caramel and very little fruit. I purposely waited at least six months before opening this bottle to allow the brett to mature, and I have to say I was disappointed because there was none to be found. Light bitterness at the finish. Medium bodied. A good beer, but nothing special.
