Dec 15, 2008 VRBT. Very happy to get to try this one. Medium, hazy orange yellow. Sweet malt aroma. Full bodied, dominated by light malts, a hint of brett, and some undefined fruitiness. Nice, but nothing really leapt out at me. I wanted more oomph somewhere.

Dec 18, 2007 750 mL bottle graciously shared by grant. Sweet, sugary, floral , herbal aroma with very mild hints of Brettanomyces. Aroma is quite sweet and sugary. Very mildly hazy honey-colored body with a small-medium off-white head and ok lacing. Carbonated, bitter, metallic flavors with some musty yeasty Brett flavors. Fruity, floral flavors come in later with a dry, bitter, hop finish. Quite hoppy, and overly dry for my palate. Decent, but this does not really jive with my preferences when it comes to Belgian ales.

Oct 9, 2007 Bottle. pours a hazy orangey body with a medium creamy white head. The aroma is beautiful - cookie dough, tart apple & pear, light sugar, mild spicy hops, very tripel-ipa esque. Tastes nice up front - you got some hop rinds, biscuit, and fruit tartness. It’s quite dusty spice and rindish and there is some alcohol that hits you almost right away. Cookiesh and doughy throughout, there is certainly no lack of substance. It’s not HUGELY complex but it’s quite palatable and flavourful. The alcohol hits you after a while.

Apr 21, 2008 a hazy dark orange pour with a large fluffy white head. aroma of light citrus fruits and a touch of fresh green hops. flavor has notes of citrus(grapefruit), hops, peaches, butter and a touch of brett. light body and very refreshing.

Jan 29, 2008 Bottle. Hazy golden in color with a white head that left a nice lacing on the glass. Floral hoppy fruity aroma. Banana orange and honey notes. Malty and fruity hoppy flavor. Orange peel and caramel notes. Finish is sweet. Medium bodied. Very drinkable. Well balanced. Very nice.

Nov 27, 2008 Big nose that presented alot of hops at first, resinous as the bottle said, and very floral. A bretty side to became apparent later. Huge resiny hop flavors, malts give it full body, esp for a belgian ale. Finish is very bitter. Brett flavors take awhile to become known. I had this with Thanksgiving dinner and it was a really great partner.

Aroma is yeasty, quite musty, light citrus, perfume, spice.
Flavour is a bit hot, lots of perfume and spices, weird.
Spicy mouth, med body, high carb.
Finishes long, hot, citrus.
Seems old. Hot with way to much perfume.
