Heavy brett nose in cotton, almonds, apple skins, and sweet florals. Inviting, heavy on the Brett and delightful. A bit of minerals glide in with passionfruit. Delightful. Pours a brilliant deeper gold, with a rim of white. Flavor develops a blend of savory and sweet in Brett delight. Tart, bright, fresh and backed with a nice run of malty bread sugars in the middle for balance and composure. Excellent. A gummy bit of hops round out the backside, through a fog of mysterious cobwebs and dust from the Brett. A stunning use of Brett to finish a beer. mgumby10 (1858), Jupiter, Florida, USA

A little bit hoppy, some citrus in the aroma. Pretty mild all the way through. Some spices are present. The taste is somewhat hoppy and spicy mixed together. Not a real character to this beer. It seems to be a couple different things at once, which was interesting, and pleasant. Some mild sweetness comes through, but blends in well with the hops and mild malts. Pretty good brew. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 20, 2008 Supposedly a wild ale, hopped like a Double IPA. Golden color with a small, wispy white foam. Smells of some wildness, with hints of floral-like, lemony, grapefruity hops. Flavor has some malt & yeast derived notes of peach and nectarine. Also a lot of hop character with some funkiness. It’s a fairly good Belgian ale. LinusStick (1855), Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA

Too often this style goes overboard on the sweetness but this was perfectly balanced. Aroma was yeasty, light and fruity. Pour was a perfect medium gold with a huge 3 finger pillowy white head. Taste was delicious. Strong biting carbonation with full apricot, apple and peach (tastes like carbonated fruit cocktail juice). Aftertaste is slightly bitter and dry. Very nice. thegreenrooster (1852), St.louis, Missouri, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Aug 11, 2008 Pour is a dull orange with a large foamy white head. Aroma is lots of sweet fruit with a nice funk to it. Flavor is lots of fresh citrus with some vanilla, caramel and again some funk. After the funk you get sme oily hops left on the tounge. This is a pretty tasty beer snd something to sip on for awhile. Now im going to have funk burps all night! lithy (1850), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA

Nice reddish burnt orange with a finger of long lasting eggshell colored head. Lots of lemon zest aroma, yeasty, spicy. Taste is a bit of a saison farmhouse funk, lots of lemons and other citrus, grassy hops and light yeasty spices. Fantastic and reminds me of Orval with some more lemon zest. thornecb (1816), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Oct 17, 2008 Pours deep amber into a tulip. Off-white whipped cream head with excellent retention leaves sheet lacing. Sour fruit and biscuit malt aromas. Smooth with orange and lemon alcohol spritz upfront , a caramel middle and a lasting tart citrus peel finish. I can taste both brewers - remarkable stuff. illinismitty (1801), Nashville, Tennessee, USA

Aroma of citrus, honey, and some alcohol. I like the attenuation on this one. Flavors of orange and lemon with subtle accents of dry leafy herbs. Finish is dry and slightly bretty. Nice.
