Jan 23, 2008 On tap at Pizza Port Carlsbad. Really quite complex for how light its color is. Flour, yeast, but also quite sweet and refreshing. The fruit flavors were too subtle for little ole me to single out, but this is a very unique brew.

Jun 30, 2008 750mL bottle. Golden orange color with a small white head. Earthy spiciness, appley malt, and tinges of phenol in the aroma. Ruddy, herbal character, some sharp spiciness. Floral hoppiness peers through a veneer of musty notes. Musty, grassy brett dominates in the finish. Mouthfeel is medium, rather dry.

Mar 16, 2008 Courtesy of miver. Poured a hazy amber/golden color body with a really nice foamy white head. The aroma was barnyard funk, hay, citrus and floral hops. Flavors with some sweet citrus and mild tropical fruits, funky yeast with a little tartness, and some grassy barnyard notes.

Mar 30, 2008 Tasting, courtesy of Fordest’s event. Beer #2. Pours a murky, cloudy yellow color with a small white head that soon dissipates to a fine ring. Aroma was loaded with sweet perfumy flowers and some barn funk. The flavor was characterized by tropical fruits, tart grass and more sweet perfumy flowers. Mouthfeel was light and clean. The finish was long with lingering sweet fruits. Overall: Good stuff if you want something sweet and floral.

Nov 1, 2008 Pours hazy dark golden color with off white head. Bready yeast aroma with caramel and brett. Flavors of citrus, caramel malts and tartness of brett. Medium body with livel carbonation and a creamy mouthfeel. I’d like to try this with about 6 more months on it to see how the brett flavors change.

Feb 17, 2008 On tap at Max’s Belgian fest. Translucent hazy, straw gold with a white, frothy head. Nose is barnyard funk, lemons, yeast and grass. Flavor is more funk, grass, white grapes and yeast. Finish is soft and smooth and slightly watery. Very well balanced and crisp.
