Bottle. Pours with a beautiful orange golden color and a medium head. Very fruity aromasn and a bit of wild yeast. Flavors are tart and yeasty, a lot of citrus and some breadiness. Very complex and delicate. Outstanding beer.

Pours a murky orange color with a big rocky white head. Aroma was citrus, barnyard, yeast and a bit of malt. Flavor was very bready, citrusy, some nice Brett notes with a solid twang. Nice beer.

Bottle pours cloudy amber color with off white head. Aroma is subtle plum, yeast, brett, and caramel. Medium mouthfeel with a lot of tiny bubbles for carbonation. Flavor is brett, dark fruit, apricot, plum, caramel, and finishes dry. Solid.

750ml. Pours a a bright, light orange color with a very compact, creamy, large white head. Aroma is nice and gentle, smooth and appetizing. Pears, apples, a slight zesty peppery quality. A little white wine characteristic, a little rubber. The funkiness from the brett is apparent slightly if you look for it but it is certainly subtle and you could mistake it for something else if you did not know the background of this beer. Perhaps that will change with time, however. Taste is bready, pretty fruity, relatively bitter for the style. A little leafy and plasticy. I haven’t had this beer before but from what I can imagine the hoppiness is now subsided and the funk is not in well enough effect and this beer is kind of in a in-between phase that makes it not that special. Not bad it just doesn’t stick out to me.

Pours from 750 ml a murky, coppery-orange color with a full, white, rocky, fluffy head which settles fairly quickly to an average, creamy layer and leaves minimal sporadic lace. Flavour is that of smooth and light, with a slick finish of french bread crust and plum preserves. Grassy hop, sour fruit, then of raw hops, yeast, and malt goodness. Lovely bitter hops, balanced nicely by light caramel malts and a bit of fruit. Simply delicious.

(bottle, thanks Sparky27!) Pours gold with a white head that lingers. The aroma is very unique, with aromas of candied carrots, pepper, and must. The taste is very sweet with some caramel, banana, and vanilla, that then transitions to a dry cracker-like finish. I aged this botle for a few months to see if the brett would show up more, but it needs some more time.

The 750 ml. bomber holding the beer was silk screened with a lot of information about the making of this joint effort. When poured into a Duvel tulip, this one looked decent but not great. The golden color, and the large head were nice, but the chill haze was a bit heavy. The smell was quite a bit like a Saison with hops and wildness coming together for an inviting bouquet. The taste was a great marriage of two bold and proud traditions. The hops were immediately noticeable like they would be in a bright American IPA, but the malt content was quite a bit higher, and the unique dry and sour flavors that come only from Belgian Yeast and Brettanomyces were vying for attention. The finish was spicy like white pepper. The body was medium thick and satisfying in its sticky consistency. Another proof that addition of more hops is almost never a bad thing.
