Bottled at Lost Abbey, Batch 2. Poured medium golden with lots of rising carbonation and a short, fizzier cap of white head. The aroma picked up sweeter bready notes upfront accented by lemon zest and brighter floral accents.. seemed to be a lot of floral and perfumey hops present (Amarillo?). The flavor had dry pale and bready notes at the core with spicy floral and citrus bitterness throughout.. dry and funky with great balance. Fluffy on the palate with higher carbonation and a calculated dry feel all the way across.. drier still on the finish and damn-near refreshing (which is quite a feat for a beer of this size). Loved it!

Bottle shared with Dave of the Brick Store Pub. Yeasty aroma. Cloudy golden with white lace and head. Somewhat funky in taste, it’s an understated and balanced wild ale. Very great and medium mouthfeel.

Bottle (750ml). Shared with blankboy, GregClow, mds and tupalev - blankboy’s bottle. Cloudy, amber-gold with a large frothy/creamy white lasting head, nice sticky lacing. Lush, fresh aroma - near 10 for me - spice, crushed mint, light tree fruit, sweet malt, and tons and tons of sweet floral Belgian yeast. The taste had a surprising bret tartness to it, also crushed mint again, alcohol, fruity malt, but all evolving into a dry, sharp spicy finish. Dry, crisp mouthfeel, quite astringent, very complex with background funky yeast ... stunning; sophisticated; shows what brewing with the real-deal yeasts can do!

This Belgian Strong Ale pours a medium amber color from a corked 750ml bottle. Large sized white foamy head, with good retention and nice lacing. The aroma is yeasty, a touch musty and fruity. A medium bodied Belgian Strong Ale. The malts are fruity and sweet, lots of orange and peach flavors. The hops are fairly floral. Touch of must and leather. Lively carbonation. Nice balance. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is crisp and dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

This corked and caged bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a large sized head of foamy finely sized off-white colored bubbles that were and left behind a transparent softly carbonated orange brown colored body. The aroma was floral and spicy. The semi-flat mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start mediumly tingly at the finish. The flavor contained notes of malt mild hops and spices. An OK brew just nothing special.

Bottle. Pours a hazy dark gold body with big head. Aroma is peachy, orange, spicy yeast, some etoh and floral hop notes, golding maybe. Sweet dry with brett an d then a bitter hop and lightly citrus flavor. I liked it less as i drank more.

Poured a hazy golden amber color with a medium sized, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of brett brux, horseblanket, pineapple, citrus fruits, and floral hops. Taste was sweeter, toffee malts, citrus, piney hops, tropical fruits, with a light tartness in the finish. Give these batch 2 bottles about 6 more months, and they will be really amazing. Thanks to miver for this!

Huge thanks to Joebrew and Eddieb23 for snagging this one and sharing it! Cloudy yellow color with a medium head. Lots of wheat and hay for the aroma, along with a little sourness. Very root vegetable-like taste (carrots?). Wheat and barnyard dry funk. Light banana. Quite nice.
