| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 23, 2008 Pours hazy orange / copper with a minimal white head. The aroma is like a musty basement, dry butterscotch, apricots, cobwebs and caramel. Medium body with a ton of semi-soft carbonation. The flavor adds a bit more sweetness and some pepper to the aroma traits. The finish has a dry biere de garde essence. A good beer. heemer77 (4304), Savannah, Missouri, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 3, 2007 Thanks for sharing general_gao. The body was medium gold colored with a light khaki head. The aroma was funky with notes of hay, apricots and carmel. The taste was leathery with some carmel. There was also apple core and notes of apricots. This is a strange brew, but part of my problem is that I do not like apricots. JorisPPattyn (5174), Antwerpen, Belgium
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 24, 2008 Orange, small white rim. Citrus, orange, alcohol and fusels. Fusels again, orange, candi sugar, apricot, and yeast esters à gogo. Very slick, oily, syrupy and in the aftertase, a little hops. Well. Seems they get the same results in Belgium... | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 4, 2009 Sweet aroma and flavor. Aroma has very light wild yeast. Flavor has yeast as well, minimally sour. Clearly a Belgian style beer, with Belgian yeast. Low carbonation. Some wild grass. Malt. Good. bu11zeye (5510), Frisco, Texas, USA

Aroma of perfume, herbs, earthiness, grapefruit, and apricot. Flavor of spicy yeast, floral hops, brett sourness, caramel malt, and pepper with a bitter finish. jasonp (1510), Sterling/Dulles, Virginia, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 13, 2008 Sampled at Lost Abbey, RBSG ’08. Slightly hazy, deep golden with a white head. Light dough, lemon, fruity and some herbal character that I can’t quite pinpoint in the nose. Flavor has notes of light brett, pale brewing malt, lemon, herbs, noble hops (but the beer claims to have simcoe and amarillo), slight tinge of sweetness, white grapes/wine and a dry finish. Medium to light bodied; very crisp and effervescent. Well-attenuated. Nice beer. Sammy (4013), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Cloudy golden with white lace and head. Somewhat funky in taste, it’s an understated and balanced wild ale. Very great and medium mouthfeel.
