Poured a hazy golden amber color with a medium sized, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of brett brux, horseblanket, pineapple, citrus fruits, and floral hops. Taste was sweeter, toffee malts, citrus, piney hops, tropical fruits, with a light tartness in the finish. Give these batch 2 bottles about 6 more months, and they will be really amazing. Thanks to miver for this!

Objectively speaking: Successful collaboration between giants on a style (funky Belgian golden ales with American aroma hops) of growing popularity.
I like: Beautiful sunny golden hue. Large 1-inch eternal head. Superior aroma. Fresh tangerine notes. Tea tannins. Floral^2. Fresh and green. The best lemonade I’ve ever had. High complexity. Best new beer in a while.
I dislike: Still a bit more residual sugars than I prefer. Perhaps more bitterness would take care of that. A bit too cerealic/thick, pils malt needs crispiness, not roundness. Finishing soapiness. Out of place banana esters in mouth.

Big ol bottle. This is a great choice for my 200th review!! There is a great color and aroma with this beer. Flavor starts like a good complex Belgian, but then all kinds of honey and mandarin orange start to linger. The finish is nice and clean with some hop tones. Great beer!

Pours from 750 ml a murky, coppery-orange color with a full, white, rocky, fluffy head which settles fairly quickly to an average, creamy layer and leaves minimal sporadic lace. Flavour is that of smooth and light, with a slick finish of french bread crust and plum preserves. Grassy hop, sour fruit, then of raw hops, yeast, and malt goodness. Lovely bitter hops, balanced nicely by light caramel malts and a bit of fruit. Simply delicious.

Poured yellow with fluffy white head. Aroma of fruit, hops, and some spice. Perfect blend of flavors in this one that included hops, fruit, spice, and pine. Finish was smooth.

Pours a deep orange-brown with a medium sized ivory head. Aroma is of hearty, heavy malt, toffee, caramel, cloves, cream, and light fruit. Complex aroma. Flavor is again complex; sweet honey, thick malty body, perfect hop counterpoint, and the brettanomyces is subtly, perfectly pronounced. Bitter hops and a lingering sourness give me a shudder as I gulp. Thick mouthfeel, sticky finish. Big, complex, and delicious. About flawless in execution. Perhaps not as exciting as a Ferrari, but indeed as elegant as a Rolls-Royce. Damn. Overall, world class.
