Very strong and sweet fruitiness to the aroma suggests canned pears, peaches, cherries and sugar syrup - fruit salad. Clear golden coloured body with thin white head that recedes rapidly to ring. Fruitiness is strong also in the very sweet flavour with some bready and wheat-like characteristics and some herbal, minty spiciness in the finish. Metallic note emerges as it warms. Light body with somewhat low carbonation that does not last. Sweetness becomes cloying. Tulip glass. Allowed to warm from fridge temperature. Bottle (State Line Liquors, MD, Oct-05).

haxy golden color, large off white head that took awhile to fade but left a decent lace behind. The aroma was wheaty and mildly fruity with a bit of hops and spice in there as well. The flavor was decent but nothing special.malty and wheaty with a good but not overly done, slight yeastyiness to it in the flavor but over all it’s worth a try,but not to the extreme IMO.

Medium Gold with TONS of floaties. Has an odd scent I can’t quite place. A slight smokiness to it. A plasticy taste. One of my least liked Belgians.

25 cl bottle. Yeast in bottom. Pale yellow colour with a weak head. Yeasty and citrus aroma. Very much like a wit beer. Some sour and wheat flavour with notes of orange, Very uninteresting.

Bottle. Pours bright yellow orange with a big white head and a sea of floaties. The aroma reminds me of candied carrots. The flavor is carrots, candied yams, some yeast, and a few nondescript spices. I don’t like this. I couldn’t finish my half of the bottle. But I bet it would be good after aging for, say, 20 years.

bottle. Pours a murky gold with a soapy head, obvious carbonation, and plenty of floaties. Vegetal, yeasty aroma with slight skunk. This tastes like yams and yeast with some skunk in the aftertaste. Not too impressive. There’s also a strange waxy mouthfeel.

Pours a slightly golden color with floaties in it and a ring of white lace. Interesting aroma of spelt, citrus and yeast with a mild farmhouse / funky character. The flavor is good and enjoyable, like the aroma I could feel spelt, citrus and yeast, it feels like a witbier / bière de garde hybrid, interesting.

750 ml bottle no date. Pours almost a clear white- close to the lightest beer ever. In the glass it is the same color of a very pale lager but lots of chill haze, and tiny yeast suspension. Head is initially big creamy and pure white but fades after a fe wminutes to a thin film. Aroma is at first a slight bit sour, but then some barnyard notes are noticed along with lots of wheat, wet hay and grass. Flavor is relatively light, but medium bodied. Lots of wheat, dough, bread, light malts and some earthiness. Mouthfeel has a slight slickness and a bit of a tart very slight acidic finish. Pretty unique but not that interesting overall.
