Hazy straw,small stark white head.Spicy yeast nose and taste. Lightly tart, lightly sweet. Quite gassy

From Beermania, Bruxelles, Belgium. Bottled, 160309. Yellow with small white head. Aroma of fruit and malt. Flavor is with wheat in a darker version and some fruit notes

Molto piacevole birra al farro di Silenrieux, bevuta insieme al tagliere di salumi dell’1 e mezza di notte (grazie Erika!!!!) la sbafatura è stata un poco delirante e confesso che cominciavo a perdere un po’ di colpi, ma ci siamo ripresi con grande tranquillità riuscendo ad assestare anche un altro punto a casa con la non eccelsa Hanfblute.

Bottle: Poured a pale yellow color ale with a large pale white foamy head with good retention and good lacing. Aroma of light funk and fruity ester with some pale malt. Taste is also dominated by some light funky notes with some discernable fruity ester and a light malt backbone. Average body with great carbonation. Well done but maybe lacking some funk to some ester to be truly exceptional.

A clear yellow colored beer, with a small white head. The aroma of citrus fruits with some sour. The taste is sour with bitter with notes of sweet. The aftertaste is sour as well, with a little bitter and sweet.

Bottle, pours light gold with a thin white head. Aroma is fairly pungent. I’m getting orange juice, wheat, light floral hops and very faint alcohol. Taste is very unique. I’ve never tasted this before, maybe it’s the spelt? Slightly sweet, sugar cane, meets a dry bitter finish with a bold earthy wheat flavor. I’m also suprised that I’m getting a slight slcohol burn at 5 percent, but it’s there. The mouth is highly carbonated and makes this beer very crisp. It’s definatly unique, the finish is odd. Drinkability is good and it’s fairly refreshing like most wheats. I have to say this was an interesting beer. It’s mildly like a wit beer but the finish is obviously different. I would drink it again, if it were in front of me.

It’s slightly hazy golden and the head is huge and white. The aroma has notes of yeast, light fruit and wheat. The flavour has sweetness and notes of wheat, yeast, light fruit. The overall impression is a bit “edgy”, but otherwise it’s OK and easy to drink.

Pours clear straw color with white head. Fruity Belgian yeast aroma. Mildly sweet with flavors of bread, yeast and spices. Medium body with average carbonation. Easy to drink but not alot of flavors.
