Aroma – Deep malt aroma with nothing else coming through.
Appearance – Cloudy yellow color with a fluffy white head.
Flavor – Deep malty flavor with some fruitiness with the honey and bread flavors.
Palate – A rich Mouthfeel, with a sweet - dry finish.
Overall – An interesting Spelt with some huge bread like qualities. This was in Honor of Joe we lost back in November - “Via Con Dios” - Joe.

Cloudy yellow with a reasonable head and full of carbonation. Very grainy aroma as expected with some nice malt and sweet fruity notes. Burnt malt and spice flavour, very vegetal unfortunately. Tart and slightly dry finish. Over carbed. Dull. LinusStick (1844), Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 25, 2007 Blah...weird beer. Aroma was somewhat sour citrus so I was excited. Pour was a flat dark yellow with no head. Taste was incredibly sweet. A lot of honey, bread and grain flavor. Way too sweet. Ethereal (1500), London, Greater London, England

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Dec 4, 2007 Pours golden with a tall white head that leaves thick lacing behind. Very crisp on the palate with a dry finish. Fruity citrus and bready flavor, yeasty finish. Hints of banana, dry grainy flavors, and estery clove and coriander finish. Decent beer, very inexpensive, I found it for $4.25 for a cork finished 750ml. JoeinUccle (902), Brussels, Belgium
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 9, 2007 I had high hopes for this beer, since we have the same name. Alas I was a bit disappointed. 75 cL pours a clearish, pale gold with white head that did last a little while. Aroma is sweetish, lighter fruits, yeasty, with just a little creamed corn. Flavor was somewhat sweet, but not quite cloying, and lightly bitter. Lively but a bit wet. Sweetish finish. I can’t help but compare it to Blaugies’ Saison d’Epeautre, and this one was nowhere near as interesting, to me. Tasted to me like a lot of other sweet blondes on the market, except maybe with fewer spices (and that may be a point in its favor). I did enjoy it, but I doubt I’d pursue it again.
