| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 6, 2009 Bottle, 25cl. The beer was quite difficult to pour. Even though it had been standing in my cellar for several days, it slowly started to come out of the bottle. When I poured it, the head continued to grow for two minutes or so, until stabilising, and then slowly diminishing. It took me some seven or eight minutes to finish pouring. The body was yellowish golden, cloudy, and as you might have guessed, the head was huge. The color of the head was white, and it left some pretty lacings. The nose was wheaty, spiced and fruity, with an emphasis on coriander. It has a slightly dry, fruity and spiced finish, and the initial flavor is mostly fruity, but with a good dash of coriander, as well as wheat, some yeast and a little banana and hops. Medium body, slightly sticky. A nice beer, very refreshing and almost sessionable, but a bit too strong for that. Pity it’s so expensive in Norway, putting you back almost $8 for a 25cl bottle.
