Sep 20, 2008 25 cL bottle. Pours dark and hazy brown with a small off-white and creamy head. Fruity yeasty and sligh breadish/caramel malty aroma. Sweet and berry fruity initial flavour. Mild herbal and malty too. Lasting berry fruity impression. Nice brew. Lingering fruity and light finish.

Aroma: Malt and some wheat. Metallic.
Taste: Malt and some sourness. Quite unpleasant.

Jun 12, 2008 Thick light tan head, dark red brown color. Malt and spice in the aroma. Clean taste of dark fruit, with molasses, smooth malt; there is some lingering sourness that cuts the sweetness nicely. Light to medium on the palate, very smooth. Nice.

Jun 6, 2008 Updated: Mar 29, 2009750ml bottle. Foamy head greets you after uncorking the bottle. Certainly not over-carbonated, just nice and lively. Extremely attractive opaque brown-amber color. Deep fig-like fruitiness in the taste, with an incredibly smooth mouthfeel. Could be considered the missing link between the Farmhouse and Oud Bruin styles, as it displays a funky subtle sour taste beneath the malty smoothness. Criminally underrated, this beer is one of a kind.

May 24, 2008 A weird and unusual beer. Aroma was weak but smelled a little like gelatin. Pour was a nice deep murky brown that looked dirty. Taste was a little sweet...had some gelatin, Wheaties and brown sugar with a sweet thick aftertaste. Not terrible, but not very good.

May 10, 2008 Bottle. Hazy auburn/amber with some particles, even some chunks. Fizzy small head. Slight fruit tang in nose. Some date, brown sugar, and chicoo. Thin body. Slight fizziness and quite sweet. Lots of dates. A bit sticky. Brown sugar, caramel. Spritzy, fun, and sweet. Not bad.
