Commercial Description:
SARA has a dark red-brown color, is well hopped, and spicy at the same time. It has a hearty exclusive special taste with sour undertones, accentuated by a very rich aroma, which both come from the buckwheat.

DISCLAIMER: this is the brown, organic (biologique) version of Sara. Note that all versions of Sara are organic, also if it isn’t mentioned on the bottle.

Sweet malt and slight amount of fruit in the aroma. Hazy dark orange color with a large tan head. Slightly bitter in the beginning getting more sweet in the finish.

A golden ale with high CO2 and huge head. Good belgian aroma, but not particularly strong. Well balanced taste, but too weak finish. Does not fit with the commercial description.

Bottled. Very pale, a little banana aroma, some graininess, but very anonymous. A hint of citrus. Boring.

0.25 l bottle. Murky brown color with creamy head, very foamy. Grainy and berryish aroma with hints of chocolade, alcohol and plastic. The taste is weirdly grainy, sligthly acidic with spicy bitterness, menthol, pepper, alcohol, toffee and nuts. Mentholy-spicy finish. 2 years old bottle, tastes old and somewhat unpleasant.

LIght copper color with a tall dissipating light tan head. Malty aromas with caramel, toasted grains, german chocolate and wild honey. Hints of yeast and citric zest. The smoothness is a bit surprising considering all the zip this one has. The buckwheat seems to add quite a bit to the feel in this one. Flavors of malt and dark honey. Only a touch of fruit and spice. Dries out in the finish and linger to leave a dry bread flavor.

Bottled thansk to ?, rbesg07. Alround very spicey wheat, infact incredibly wheaty, which hints of tart fruitness. Spicey finish.
