Commercial Description:
SARA has a dark red-brown color, is well hopped, and spicy at the same time. It has a hearty exclusive special taste with sour undertones, accentuated by a very rich aroma, which both come from the buckwheat.

DISCLAIMER: this is the brown, organic (biologique) version of Sara. Note that all versions of Sara are organic, also if it isn’t mentioned on the bottle.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a huge, but due to high carbonation, fast disappearing ornage head. The aroma is sweet with notes of herbs and fruit, a great mixture of both - reminds me of a walk on a warm sunny summer day in southern Europe amongst citrus trees, olive trees, sage bushes, and loads of different other spice plants and bushes. Compared to the aroma, the flavor is boring, it is sweet malty with strong notes of berries, but also with a spicy note of sage and cloves, and the mouthfeel is a bit watery, before a slight alcohol burn end of the experience.

(Bottle 75 cl) Dark brown - almost like a Dubbel, almost. Unclear with a gigantic, rocky head. Very delicate, almost perfumy aromas. Lots of fruity esters - citrus - and perhaps some caramel. Surprising light body - almost watery - but still manages to appear perfectly balanced. A very quaffable easy-to-drink beer. 100498

25 cL bottle. Pours dark and hazy brown with a small off-white and creamy head. Fruity yeasty and sligh breadish/caramel malty aroma. Sweet and berry fruity initial flavour. Mild herbal and malty too. Lasting berry fruity impression. Nice brew. Lingering fruity and light finish.

Cloudy ammber with brief, cloudy head. Orangey aroma. Dusty, dry and fruity. Medium bodied with soft, rounded mouthfeel and notes of red berries. Discrete but complex.

Bottled@Fonefan. Deep amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is yeast, fruits, raisins and some mild sourish wooden notes. Flavour is quite sour wood, some yeast and caramel. Also as it warms up a bit it gets quite sweetish fruity. Nicely balanced.
