Nose of grain & cereal, some pine resin. Pours a sparkling solid golden. The mostly diminishing white sticky head leaves light lace. Pretty robust for a pils, this brew is well balanced with decent malt depth and heavy acidity with a corresponding bite. The bready finish is somewhat tart. The light creamy body is lively and the finish feels crisp and snappy.

Sampled on draught at the brewpub in Siletz, Oregon during the ABA 07 Beer Tour. Pours a semi- cloudy pale golden blonde brew with a thin white head that quickly dissolves toa fine film. Aroma of light multi-grain malt, bubblegum, some vegetable margarine and lemon peel. Taste is light bodied, slightly carbonated, with flavors of flowery lemon peel, and corn flakes. Finish is slightly acidic with a citrus peel aftertaste. Siletz’s lightest beer on tap.

22oz bottle pours cloudy golden with a short white head. Aromas of spice and slight grassy hops with crisp grains. Flavor is fruity at first with notes of apple, then grains and bready malts before the slight german hops at the finish. Palate is crisp and pretty clean and not a bad lager on the whole..

Pours light copper with a soft white head. Spicy and grassy hops in the nose. Very creamy on the palate with a smooth fruity malt start and balanced crisp hop finish. Nice beer on tap.

On Tap at Siletz Roadhouse, Siletz OR. Pours out a hazy gold topped with a small white head. A nice little hop to this one.

A deep reddish gold color (nowhere near ruby, but far deeper than a bud tone). Mouthfeel. Hops. This is a pilsner? It drinks like a light ale (little fruit, though). As ever, there is that hint of Siletz acidity. Where do they get that? It’s about 1/3 of the way from Bud to Sam’s Imperial Pilsner. I’m a hophead, and I cheerfully drank 22 ounces. Trust me. It’s ok. More than.
