Black colour with a light brown head. Roasted, coffee biter aroma with a light chocolate sweet note. Roasted, coffee bitter flavor with a vague sour note.

BottleNearly black with a dense tan head. Mild aroma is cocoa powder and coffee. Smooth creamy body. Flavor is mildly sweet chocolate with some sour cold oatmeal flavor. May be a QC problem here.

Bottle: 1 inch of "stout"; 2 fists full of white head. Every bottle I have opened from this brewery has tasted infected. Mouth full of vinegar and chocolate. Very sour. Had to dump this one.

Bottle. A almost black beer with a beige head. The aroma is of roasted malt, heavy on the coffee side. The taste is much the same, but with some chocolate and sourness.Medium body with a dry, light sour finish.

20061216 Lots of citrusy hops throughout mingling with solid roastiness and an astringent finish. Clean and drinkable.
