Commercial Description:
Excessively Extreme! Our India Pale Ale is a robust, deep golden ale with a distinctive crisp bitterness provided by three different hop varieties. The floral hop aroma is provided by East Kent Goldings. This beer is not intended for the faint at heart. Excellent with grilled fish or some of your favorite mild cheeses.

a pretty solid IPA, pours a light golden color, good white head and thick lacing, a strong hop presence, sweet right at the start and then bitter from the middle to the end, not as flavorful as some but still pretty damn good.

Light amber in color with a slight haze and a small white head. Aromas of butter, floral hops and citrus. Bitter throughout ending dry and citrus.

Hazy golden-orange with a creamy-white head. Pastry-like nose. Mild carbonation. Smooth on the tongue. Malts were nice, with notes bread, sugar cookies, and grains. Hops were very flowery, with notes of pine, grass, lemon, and grapefruit. Lingering bitterness kind of dries out the tongue. Not bad.

Sampled @ the brewery. Buttery nose, buttery and lactic flavors, some honey and wheat, different from most IPAs... has the bitterness, but the flavors are right.

Leftover from the RBSG 2004: Hazy orange with a tinge of ruby. Light grapefruit flavor, starts and ends bitter. Ends dry with a long aftertaste.

Sampled at the Philadelphia gathering, July 10. Lightly fruity and flowery nose, very citrusy acidic and bitter in the body, a bit too thin, little sugar. Damn this is dry stuff; too dry. Doesn’t work, really.

Aroma of pine and citrus hops. Flavor is watery hops with a thin maltiness. Thin palate. Nice hop use but everything else fell short.

Great IPA, copper color, generous off-white head with great lacing around the glass, huge hop nose & character, very smooth & crisp, medium-full body, citrus & pine notes to round out the hoppy flavors, nice malty profile to balance everything out, very enjoyable pale ale, dry & bitter finish with more pine & sweet malt notes
