Commercial Description:
Excessively Extreme! Our India Pale Ale is a robust, deep golden ale with a distinctive crisp bitterness provided by three different hop varieties. The floral hop aroma is provided by East Kent Goldings. This beer is not intended for the faint at heart. Excellent with grilled fish or some of your favorite mild cheeses.

Upfront SMELL and initial flavor are MALT-the best malt flavor i’ve tasted. Then wakeup, you suddenly are reminded that this is an IPA. Hopheads will not be disappointed.

Medium gold color, small head. Hoppy floral aroma. A medium bodied West coat IPA. Very hoppy without being too overpowering. Nice balance. A Hop fest for the taste buds: alternates between floral and spicy and bitter. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is crisp and clean. Aftertaste is bitter, and the bitterness ligers a while. Nice IPA, big and bold, not overpowering but not for the weak of taste buds. High alcohol? Painted beer bottle.

I love the name and the beer. A very good IPA in the west coast hoppy tradition. Siletz is a very good brewery all of their stuff I have had is good.

A very nice fresh floral aroma. Decent head with nice lacing throughout. Orange peels are everywhere. Malty and hoppy all at the same time makes me think these guys know their shit. My first Silitz bottled product. A little sweet to be (imho) a good session beer but definatly worth having on hand.

Ok bought at Lincoln City ,Oregon in a 22 oz bomber..screen printed label. A slightly darker orange than is usual for an IPA..slightly hazy..great pure white frothy head. A great spicy hop aroma..nice and fresh. Very hop dominated taste,,strong and bitter yet refreshing. Smooth and extremelly bitter on the palate This is a hop heads dream type of beer..its a good beer but I couldnt drink more than a couple of pints

An aroma of malt with citrus hop. A head that overflows, and eventually leaves lacing. This must be unpasteurized. The color of ripe apricot. Thick mouthfeel. Dry. How does it start? It’s an explosion of flavors. Malt and hop dance, and in the end there is citrus and bitter. Some Siletz brews end a bit sour, but not this one. An IPA, not to be confused with a wannabee double IPA. It is what it is, and it’s very good.

Nose of light spice & grain, very pilsenerish. As the brew warms, light resin and pine come through. Pours a very sparkling copper amber with golden highlights. The fully lasting rocky creamy off-white head leaves exceptional lace. The brew is bitter from the start with light acidity and a moderately bitter finish. The medium palate is creamy and soft, the finish feels astringent. More session than specialty.

Great IPA, copper color, generous off-white head with great lacing around the glass, huge hop nose & character, very smooth & crisp, medium-full body, citrus & pine notes to round out the hoppy flavors, nice malty profile to balance everything out, very enjoyable pale ale, dry & bitter finish with more pine & sweet malt notes
