Then wakeup, you suddenly are reminded that this is an IPA. Hopheads will not be disappointed. beerguy101 (3946), Newark, California, USA

Very hoppy without being too overpowering. Nice balance. A Hop fest for the taste buds: alternates between floral and spicy and bitter. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is crisp and clean. Aftertaste is bitter, and the bitterness ligers a while. Nice IPA, big and bold, not overpowering but not for the weak of taste buds. High alcohol? Painted beer bottle. thenewfbi (7), Portland, Oregon, USA does not count | 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 8, 2005 I love the name and the beer. A very good IPA in the west coast hoppy tradition. Siletz is a very good brewery all of their stuff I have had is good. Eyedrinkale (3209), Astoria, New York, USA

Orange peels are everywhere. Malty and hoppy all at the same time makes me think these guys know their shit. My first Silitz bottled product. A little sweet to be (imho) a good session beer but definatly worth having on hand. Reid (1090), Salem, Oregon, USA

This must be unpasteurized. The color of ripe apricot. Thick mouthfeel. Dry. How does it start? It’s an explosion of flavors. Malt and hop dance, and in the end there is citrus and bitter. Some Siletz brews end a bit sour, but not this one. An IPA, not to be confused with a wannabee double IPA. It is what it is, and it’s very good. ultraspank (866), Dublin, Ohio, USA

As the brew warms, light resin and pine come through. Pours a very sparkling copper amber with golden highlights. The fully lasting rocky creamy off-white head leaves exceptional lace. The brew is bitter from the start with light acidity and a moderately bitter finish. The medium palate is creamy and soft, the finish feels astringent. More session than specialty. obxdude10 (1561), Pottstown, Pennsylvania, USA
