Commercial Description:
A pleasantly malty Red Ale produced from the finest Northwest ingredients. You'll enjoy the slight bitterness, ruby colour and subtle sweetness of a Redhead you can take home to the family. Though you still might not want to share.

22oz Bomber - Siletz Brewing - Siletz, OR
Aroma – Has a amber malt aroma with some hops and dactyl lingering.
Appearance – Reddish Amber in color, hazy, with a thin head.
Flavor – This was another infected beer. Filled with Dactyl and the malts where over roasted and the hops where way bitter.
Palate – Buttery Mouthfeel, OK texture with a dry nasty finish.
Overall – Terrible beer.

carbonation bomb. This beer is unbalanced, and disappointing. Extremely seltzery. Carbonation is so strong you can’t taste much else. Aroma is hoppy, with malty notes.

Pours an amber/red color and leaves an off-white rocky head which lasts througout. Tastes like sour plums with a dose of floral hops. Leaves heavy lacing after every drink. Medium body. I will not buy again.

Bottle poured a slightly hazy light redish amber. Very nice full and lasting light tan head and sturdy clumpy lacing. Light slighkty sour malty aroma, flavor was fairly hoppy, bitter enough, and a bit soapy and astringent. infection? Maybe, but just not that great anyway.

More infection issues here. Poured from a 22-oz. bottle--Thin amber body with a medium-sized white head. Thin, light bready, slightly hoppy mouth feel. Finished metallic and sour from bottling issues.

22 oz bottle. Pours a clear amber, thin head. Aroma of sweet malt and hint of fruitiness. Flavor is mainly sweet caramel malt with a mild hop bite. The finish has a slight sourness with a light to medium mouthfeel. Nothing to exciting about this one...except the bottle.

Sampled on draught at the brewpub in Siletz, Oregon during the ABA 07 Beer Tour. Pours a hazy dark amber brew with a thin off-white head that quickly dissolves to a fine film. Aroma of thick wet doughy malt (scent usually detected outside a brewery or bakery), dark pitted fruits and a touch of roasted hazelnuts. Taste is lightly carbonated, medium bodied with flavors of caramel malt, grassy hop bitterness, and a hint of tart cherres. Finish is slightly acidic with a yeasty dough aftertaste.

Aroma of darkish stone fruit and some caramel. Reddish copper color with a white head that diminished quickly, but seems willing to lace. Medium bodied, light carbonated. Has that citrus sour characteristic of many Siletz ales, followed by medium caramel malt. I’m guessing citrus/fruit hop. It’s well balanced, and the malt and sour diminish in the finish to a very pleasant residue. Tasty.
