Commercial Description:
A truly unique beer made from the finest Northwest barley malts and Spruce tips. We use a small amount of hops for bittering and all the rest of the flavor comes from tender, new-growth Sitka spruce tips. Amazingly fruity and full bodied!

22 fl oz bottle. Pours cloudy orange with a huge bubbly off-white head. Mild citrusy and slight herbal aroma. Light milky touch. Acidic and citric flavoured, solid bitterness and spiced. Ends sour and citric. Quite fizzy carbonation mouthfeel.

Baby diaper? what is that? now i am distracted. sour funk that cannot possibly be intentional. will try again. dark hazy amber, average head, little chunk. That crazy aroma permeates everything and I cannot get a good read. actively seeking again.

22oz Bomber - Siletz Brewery - Siletz, OR
Aroma – Light ale malt aroma with a slight spruce aroma.
Appearance – Amber in color, Clear with a light head.
Flavor – This beer had some off flavors and was nasty to drink. Infected
Palate – So so Mouthfeel, OK texture with a dry buttery finish.
Overall – This was a very bad beer. The flavor was off and very filled with dactyl. I poured this beer out.

Bomber. Pours hazy amber with a thin ring of foam. Floral, fruit and spruce aroma. Medium body and minimal carbonation. Lightly sweet spruce and fruit taste. Spicy, earthy and lightly sour finish.

Bottle from Market of Choice in Ashland, OR. WOW!! this is definately different. It looked and smelled okay, but when I took a sip the palate was all over the place. It was malty with a little bit of sour. Not one of the better beers I’ve had.

Bottle from Market of Choice in Ashland, OR. This one was not good. Compared to the Wooly Bully, it was slightly better (which isn’t saying much). It tasted straight on pine trees. There were some funky flavors, so it wasn’t a good mix of hops. Something was off.

A good spruce ale, incredibly lite. One part Riesling, one part Pepsi, and a third sheer spruce. I *heart* tree beer.

Bomber from kenb; Nose is pine (or spruce), caramel malt, and a litle funky sourness; cloudy copper with a small beige head; flavor has some maltiness, tartness, and a little peppery mintiness. Finish is a mild tart note. Not very impressive, but I keep trying new beers looking for that jewel in the rough!
