22oz bottle via trade with kenb - Thanks Ken! - Pours amber and cloudy with a nice tall offwhite head that stays well and laces better. Aromas of caramel malts, light cherry, and some citrus hops. Flavor is caramel malts, with some definite citrus, grapefruit, and a little peach, there is also some vinous note there too. Some strange lactose element on the finish leaves a sour aftertaste. Medium body average carbonation.

Bottle... NTB Ernesto Festo ’06... Cloudy peach-colored lager with a mid-sized, frothy, off-white head. Excellent retention. The nose is a bit Flemish with a tangy bite of lemon. Not real familiar with this style so maybe the bottle’s off or maybe not. Either way, I enjoy acidity in just about everything so no complaint here. Malty, tangy flavor with mild sweetness and moderate acidity providing a funky sort of balance. Full-bodied with light carbonation. Fruity, lactic finish. Strange brew... again, it may be an off bottle. Kudos to kenb for the bomber!

Thanks to Ken B. for this one. Pours hazy coppery orange with 2-finger off-white head. Aroma of cherries, caramel malt, fruit, hops. Tastes hoppy with solid caramel malt up front, giving way to some tart red winy vinous cabernet notes. Decent complexity.

Had this one at a shithole in the town of newport called Uptown Pub, Fine Ales. They have a great selection of Siletz. orange amber color. white head. tastes like a light schotch ale.

22 oz bomber. Sort of a spicey ’sweet and sour’ hoppy thing in the malt going on. Perhaps some ginger flavor. It works and is quite tastey although 1 bottle is enough in one setting. I must try this again someetime as it is quite different and very good. All of Siletz brews are quite unique I will hand them that!

This beer had an interesting kind of citrusy, husky earthiness going on. Unbalanced, but out of everything else I tried, this was the only decent sample that was not infected. Lightly spicy and zesty in the finish.

(Bottle, courtesy of Reid) Pours a cloudy amber-brown body with an averaged-sized off-white head. Aroma of citrus and florals. Flavor of lemon, lime, malt, apple, and ginger.

Bottle. Pours a clear, ruddy orange color with a decent head comprised of varying sized bubbles. Good lacing. Aroma is light, sweet and fruity. Lighter bodied with moderate carbonation. Strange underlaying sourness which detracts quite a bit from this beer in flavor and overall. Fair hop bitterness in the finish with an initial malty sweetness. I just can’t get over the sourness. It seems like light lemon herbal tea?
