Bottle picked up from Onlyfineales.com Warm golden colour with rapidly diminishing white foamy head, I felt that as Christmas ales go this was sadly lacking, yeast fruit and spices are all there but I didn’t really think that this was that great.

Aug 11, 2008 Garrafa 330ml, em agosto/2008. Coloração dourada, creme branco gigantesco, com bolhas grandes, totalmente persistente (como a Duvel). Notas de damasco, fermento, malte e lúpulo. Carbonatação média. Álcool equilibrado. Apesar dos 9%, a drinkability não é comprometida. Final amargo e adocicado, interessante. Boa tripel.

Jun 4, 2008 33 cl. bottle. Dull gold color with a little white head. Sweet pale fruit aroma. Maybe a touch of spice. Rather lightly sweet with some mild pepper spice. Medium body with creamy carbonation. The heat is present, but doesn’t seem objectionable. Ok, but not an impressive tripel. Finishes neither sweet nor dry.
