Commercial Description:
Clear Creek pale ale is generously hopped with imported English Kent Golding and local Eastern Washington Chinook hops, two of the finest, most delicate aroma hop varieties into the world. A firm malt base and a blend of lightly toasted British caramel malts contributes a sweet nuttiness and light reddish hue. Authentic British pale yeast lends a pleasant fruity note, a classic accent of British style ale.

Dull light amber colour. Light EKG aroma with a mere suggestion of malt. Light earthiness, malts are vague. Typical mailed-in EPA, the kind you quickly regret ordering.

Tap @ Brewery: Copper, light white head and lacing. Nose of musky earthy hops, a little grassy with thin malts, less appealing than the gold. More body and bitter though.

Clear light copper color. Very hoppy and fresh, but not bitter or thick like an IPA. Flavor is sweet oily SNPA-like hops, but falls apart on the back of the tongue, going almost completely flavorless and empty. Some semi-tart caramel malts and some chewy orange in there as well. Not bad overall, drinkable but not special.

Tap at the brewpub. Hazy, amber beer with a thin white head. Fresh herbal aroma, some light resinousness in here as well. Quite a fruity (apple/berry) yeast used in this one. Sweet sugary malts. Overcarbonated. Alright, but could be much better.

From a 22-ounce bottle purchased at By The Bottle in Vancouver, WA--Poured a light copper-orange body w/ a fluffy one to two finger white head. Orange/lemon nose with some biscuit properties. Light watery finish that was quite dull and unexciting.
