acrdz (4297), Boulder, Colorado, USA Aug 5, 2005 Clear light copper color. Very hoppy and fresh, but not bitter or thick like an IPA. Flavor is sweet oily SNPA-like hops, but falls apart on the back of the tongue, going almost completely flavorless and empty. Some semi-tart caramel malts and some chewy orange in there as well. Not bad overall, drinkable but not special. BrewDad (1657), Olympia, Washington, USA Apr 30, 2007 Tap - Brewery
A deep golden color with a nice head. Liked the flavor and the complexity. This was a great Pale Ale. Easy to fnd characters with the malts and the hops. This was a good dinner beer. glkaiser (909), Seattle, Washington, USA Sep 19, 2007 Medium copper with small head. SLightly spicy hop aroma. Backed nicelhy by bready malt. Hops don’t come through as much in the taste, but a fairly nice balance. Bitter finish. Nothing out of the ordinary, but a quality Pale Ale. SuzyGreenberg (934), Seattle, Washington, USA Jun 1, 2007 22 oz. bottle - pours amber with a white head; very mild aromas and drinks silky smooth; don’t drink pale ales that often, but this is a nice one BückDich (4540), Boise, Idaho, USA Apr 9, 2008 Tap @ Brewery: Copper, light white head and lacing. Nose of musky earthy hops, a little grassy with thin malts, less appealing than the gold. More body and bitter though.
