The aroma is pretty corny – smells a bit like CornNuts – with a touch of acetaldehyde. Medium-bodied with soft carbonation. Leans on the sweet side of balance. Grainy – corn mostly. Not really my thing, but grateful for the chance to try it. Bottle courtesy of TheCheeseMan! GeneralGao (3073), Iowa City, Iowa, USA

Smelled of distinct sweet corn and yellow corn tortilla chips. medium bodied and slightly sweet. The sugars strengthened toward the end. Tasted of sweet corn and sweet cream. Not bad at all. daknole (3030), Scottsdale, Arizona, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 24, 2008 On tap @ Uber. Pours crystal clear gold with white head. The aroma is fresh and crisp with a note of floral hops followed by bolder notes of grainy malts and creamed corn. Very little sense of the ABV (where off putting fusels almost define the style). The taste is much the same with persistent floral hops throughout along with grainy malts and corn on the cob. It gets sweet with sugary malts at times. Best of the style I’ve had to date. Very nice brew. after4ever (2828), Brier, Washington, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | Aug 21, 2008 Draft at Uber. This may well be the king of malt liquors right here. Pours a crystal clear bright gold with a thin, creamy-looking platinum blonde head. Lots of corn and a little sweet grassy hop on the nose. Plenty of visible steady rising carb. Nice creamy medium body with just a bit of carb to make it refreshing. Plenty of corn and even a little hint of toasted corn nuts on the mid-palate, along with some gently grassy hop. This actually makes malt liquor a refreshing and pleasant style. riversideAK (2799), Shoreline, Washington, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Nov 27, 2008 Golden colored brew with a great creamy head and lost of lace. The aroma is soft and grainy with a little sweetness probably from corn. The flavors are very clean, no off nastiness, just sweet adjuncty goodness. Pale grains, corn sweetness. Very pleasant. A bit of bite in the finish. The carbonation is medium and some sweetness lingers. Best malt liquor ever. Yes! Angeloregon (2036), Portland, Oregon, USA
