BückDich (4497), Boise, Idaho, USA Apr 9, 2008 Tap @ Brewery: Clear gold, light head and lacing. Nose of light hops and pale malt, fragrant hoppy notes. Nice malt base and an explosive hoppy flavor. A decent light to medium body and clean. Spot on pilsner with the right amount of hops and not TOO much bitterness. Not traditional per se, but good!
after4ever (1651), Brier, Washington, USA Apr 6, 2008 Draft at the brewpub. Crystal clear medium gold. Thin white rim. Mild biscuity nose. Medium, slightly still and watery. Apricotty finish, presumably from the hops. A little bit of flavor. Listed on the beer menu at the brewpub as a golden ale, not a pils. Quite a difference. Angeloregon (1549), Portland, Oregon, USA Dec 23, 2007 22 ounce bottle from By The Bottle in Vancouver, WA--Poured a deep golden straw hue with a small fluffy white head. Thin and missing a few textures I’d hoped for. Overall okay, but nothing to write home about. BuckeyeBoy (1065), Boise, Idaho, USA May 21, 2007 On Tap at BrewPub. Pours out a light yellow. Topped with a white head. A nice little hop aroma for a pilsener. Not to bad o ya but not to great. BrewDad (1553), Olympia, Washington, USA Apr 30, 2007 Tap - Brewery
A deep golden yellow color. This was the least of my favorite beers at this visit. The beer was light in flavor missing some key malts and was just lacking in flavor. Might be this was a fast batch and they just needed to go to tap before its time. Better luck next time.
