Nov 22, 2005 Moderate PNW hop aroma with plenty of syrupy malt. Moderate bitterness. Hops are a little dull. Indistinct malts are a little more forward, but again are not showing any clear character. Mouthfeel is a bit spritzy.

Apr 9, 2008 Tap @ Brewery: Copper, light head and lacing. Nose of cascade. No dry hops? Bitter and malty, so what... A little innovation please with PNW IPAs.

Mar 10, 2006 22oz bottle acquired in trade with Larry Pitonka (thanks!). Poured a medium and lightly hazy orange color with a smaller sized off white head. Some very small floaters. Aromas dominated by pine cones with some citrus. Tastes of pine, citrus, tangerines, light caramel and ended in a grapefruity bitterness. This one gave me some nice pine burps.

Clear orange copper color. Sweaty BO scent, with a similar flavor: coarse and woody, bold and unpleasent wood with a wet, sweaty flavor. The finish is more of leafy hops, but this beer suffers a lot. Not a good flavor as all. Thick texture, but too sweaty and tinny.
