(Draught) Sampled at Elysian Pumpkin Beer Festival on October 20, 2007. Thin, white with deep cloudy orange body. Nose had great smokiness. So different, smoky and jerky flavour. Very interesting.

Nov 17, 2007 Slightly deep orange-amber hue with mild-moderate carbonation. Quite smoky aroma with a tingling intermingling of sweet malts and spiciness. Rauch malts overwhelm the taste buds. Sickeningly smoky and sweet with no pumpkin to be found.

Nov 11, 2007 Slightly hazy dark amber. Earthy and smokey in the taste and aroma. Pretty good scotch ale, but something about it just threw me off that I couldn’t put my finger on. Dry finish.

Oct 27, 2007 Hazy amber. Caramel and smoke nose. Big smokey taste, light nuts, and hints of rye bread. There’s a moderate creaminess in the body which I find distracting but otherwise it’s decent.
