Aroma of light fruit and fruit peel plus some minor sweet malt. Taste of fruit peel, over-ripe fruit, light vinegar and mild sweet malt. Low bitterness and very drinkable, however I agree with JPDIPSO – couldn’t see myself having a long session with this one. JPDIPSO (4904), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jan 3, 2009 Hazed amber color. Dissipating taupe head. Scents of grains and cider. Initial pale malt that is replaced by apple skins and over-ripe fruit. Close to sour and medicinal. Far from crisp and clean. and I could not find myself having this for a very long session. Pours a clear caramel amber brew with a slow dissolving off-white head that has some nice retention and excellent lacing. Aroma is very faint of light caramel malt, a touch of apple and no hop character. Taste is light bodied, light carbonation with flavors of light multi-grain malt and a touch of dark pitted fruits. Finish is slightly semi-sweet at first and then a crisp, clean cut with no aftertaste.
