Commercial Description:
A slightly sour Bavarian-style ale brewed with wheat and barley grains. This refreshing, lightly-hopped beer is served "mit hefe", without filtering out the primary yeast.

Pours a bright golden colour, with a medium sized white head. Wheat aroma is lighter then what i expected, a little coriander is present. Flavor is light and citrusy. Initial taste is wheat but quickly trails off into watery finish. They might need ot work on this one a little.

On tap at the brewpub on 6/21/07: Pours a transparent golden with a thin covering of white head. Aroma has some bready German yeast, banana, and sweet malted wheat. Starts lightly sweet and floral with a hint of honey and clove along with some lemon citrus balance. A little thin in flavor but otherwise fairly true to style.

hazy yellow, scant head, light sweet clove and banana aroma, mostly dry wheat flavor with just a touch of sweetness from the banana, long clove finish takes away the sweetness offered up by the banana esters,

Cloudy straw color with a small white head. l blamed the pour for the head, but after reading the other reviews it appears this is typical. Light aromas of wheat and light bananas. Banana pudding flavors and just a touch of dry yeast and sweet wheat. A slight sour flavor distracts slightly. A quaffable weiss.

Sampled on draught as "Hefeweiss" at the brewpub in Cedarburg, Wisconsin. Pours a semi-clear golden amber brew with a thin white head that quickly dissolves to a fine film and ring. Aroma of light wheat and yeasty malt, banana esters, some coriander, cloves and spiced apple cider. Taste is medium bodied, lightly carbonated with flavors of yeast, banana ester and a sweet apple cider character. Finish is smooth, creamy with a slight sweet apple aftertaste and no bitterness.

Hazy gold color, creamy small white head that fades to nothing. Sweet wheaty lemon banana aroma. Estery lemon and banana cream flavor, orange, sweet caramel-like malts and sweet grass. Sout sour hint at finish. Full flavor... a little sticky in the mouth and a great drink.
