Compared to most pilseners, this is a very balanced considering it may have a slight more punch. I could easily drink a sixer, very glad I threw out my underwear to jam this 6-pack in my suitcase. Soft soft mouthfeel with plenty of lightly toasted malt notes. Finishes very solid with more light malts and some herbs/grass. themorningzoo (49), Fairbanks, USA

Clear gold beer with a rocky big white head. Light sweet nose. This is a very clean, crisp pilsener. It disappears on the palate leaving only faint hop tracks. Flavors of sublte lemon citrus and buscuit. Very easy drinking beer. aracauna (2387), Georgia, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 25, 2005 This was actually pretty tasty, and I wasn’t expecting much. It could have used more hops in the aroma and flavor, but it was surprisingly malty. It was still a full gold in color with a full, lasting head, but had a richer malt than the usual pils. Slightly grassy hop finish. Excellent, lager that actually satisfies. GAManiac (1165), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 8, 2009 12oz bottle, labeled "Coldfoot Pilsener", courtesy of lakersfan16 poured into a pint glass.
Pours a clear straw yellow with a short lived collection of bubbles on the top that recede to nothing quickly and leave no lacing. Not the most appetizing beer honestly.
The aroma is very mild and sweet with a buttery light malt sweetness dominating with a little bit of other light fruits and some grains as well.
The taste has an initial toasted grain presence that gives way to the sweet light malts and fruit. The finish is clean and dry with only the faintest hint of hops.
The mouthfeel is medium bodied and creamy for the style with some soft carbonation.
This is fairly sweet version of a pilsener and extremely drinkable. wilkie (1191), Raleigh, North Carolina, USA

and retention, smoother than expected and
less hops in finish than expected. Lacks the
crispness that I would expect. Average. bb (2919), Martinez, California, USA
