Commercial Description:
The ale is the one to have when you’re having a few. The locals session beer. We brew the Badlands Bitter to deliver a crisp but kind bitter balanced with a smooth soft mouth feel. It has a charming crimson color and a clean sharp finish. IBU 30

Bottle. Hazy light amber pour with a fine frothy five-finger off-white head. Floral aroma. Medium body; foamy carbonation. Light roast caramel with floral hop. Really tasty.

Sweet grainy body, peach and pear fruit notes. Slight floral crisp hop character. Not offensive.

Malty aroma, slightly hazy appearance, more fizzy than an esb should be, but i like it. nothing fantastic here, but nothing wrong either.

Pours a lovely golden brown. A milder bitter, but the quality of the bitter is smooth, a little bit, and just a great session beer with light floral notes.

From a 22 oz bottle. I liked the nice bright label on this one. If poured a rich amber color with just a little haze, a nice white head, and good lacing. Good start. The nose is light malts and there is only the slightest hint of hops in the aroma, and that is lightly floral. The mouthfeel is fairly rich and full bodied. The flavor is lightly bitter and so is the finish. A decent beer.

22oz bottle. Clear amber medium head. Very light malt presence and overly bitter, even at just 30 IBUs. Minimal hop flavor. All that said, it doesn’t taste bad at all, and I could see having one of these for a work lunch at 4.4% ABV.

From a recent bottling, a 22 ounce bottle. Pours slightly hazed copper amber with one finger head. Good amount of lacings with agressive pour. Aroma is malty. Taste is slightly sweet dark malts with an oncoming wash of earthy bitter dry hops. Mild carbonation and a dry bitter finish. Hop flavors unusual for a NW beer. Interesting. Good session beer at 4.4% abv (label data).

Draft @ the brewpub. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a small white head. Has a sweetish malty hoppy aroma with some hints of caramel. Sweetish malty hoppy bitter flavor with some caramel hints. Has a sweetish malty finish.
