Commercial Description: A complex, yet balanced brew which is remarkably drinkable. Nine varieties of barley create a rich, caramelized-malt body and color, with a mild, roasted palate. Chocolaty notes compliment the sweet aroma. Hallertau, Willamette and Chinook hops provide a moderate hop aroma, and a minimal bitter finish.
This hearty brew was inspired by George Washington’s recipe, dated 1757.
