Commercial Description:
Full-bodied and proud! This amber-hued lager may be an Octoberfest-style beer, but it is available to be enjoyed year round. A strong, robust micro-brewed lager, using imported 2- row Pale malt and 2 distinct Munich specialty malts, Sin City Amber balances its full-bodied, malt character with imported German Hallertauer hops.

On tap at Sin City in the Flamingo as Oktoberfest and apparently as the Amber as well. Had it as the Oktoberfest, and the bartender who didn’t seem to know anything about the beer wasn’t really forthcoming, so I’m glad we didn’t get a duplicate of what was a mediocre beer at best. Pours a clear light brown with a thin white head. Light malt and toast on the nose. Malty, with a bit of banana and a light toffee flavor. Sweet and lightly bitter finish.

Pours an amber with wispy white head. Flavor is a yeasty bready aroma. Very lagerish - very drinkable Oktoberfest beer.

Enjoyed this a couple of years back on the Miracle Mile while on vacation in Las Vegas. A decent brew, but nothing special.

Enjoyed at the Flamingo brewpub. A tan head of large bubbles. Light malt and roasted nose. Sweet malty flavor with nuts and a bit of floral notes. Well carbonated.

Draught @ Flamingo hotel Sin City brewery. Large creamy beige head that mostly lasted. Fair display of lacework. Cloudy golden color. Light malty caramel, toasted and a hint of nutty notes. Over the palate a whiff of floral notes. Light bodied with an average carbonation. Light sweet flavor with a hint of bitterness. Light sweet malty finish.

Pours a light copper color with minimal head. Some light citrus notes. Overall a basic beer that is akin to your average commercial beers, not a good depiction of an amber style beer.

On tap at there Planet Hollywood location. Served in a plastic cup, which is quite lame, but it is Vegas. Not a big fan of this one at all. Looked fine, a dark amber color with a nice head. Aroma of caramel and sweet malt. There was something very offputting about the flavor; something akin to rotting rye. Can’t see myself every having this one again.

draft @ Sin City inFlamingo, Vegas. Pours copper, off white head. Aroma is malt and caramel. Taste, malty with very light notes of caramel, hoppy finish, possibly some light fruit notes. Too basic and boring, yet drinkable.
