Commercial Description:
Full-bodied and proud! This amber-hued lager may be an Octoberfest-style beer, but it is available to be enjoyed year round. A strong, robust micro-brewed lager, using imported 2- row Pale malt and 2 distinct Munich specialty malts, Sin City Amber balances its full-bodied, malt character with imported German Hallertauer hops.

Draft - Poured a nice clear amber in color with a small whitish head that faded quickly. Aroma is weak with mostly malt and little hops. Flavor pretty much follows... not really much here flavor-wise. Disappointing...

On tap @ Planet Hollywood, LV. I think they left something out in this; the aroma and flavor. Nothing was really "off" here but nothing is really worth mentioning, either. Weak malty aroma with faint sweetness. Light caramel noticed in the flavor and moderate carbonation. Forgettable.

Draft. Clear amber body with a short white head that quickly receded. Very little aroma, but what’s there is malty with notes of caramel and grain. Hint of flowers. The flavor was moderately sweet and very mildly bitter. It finished about the same. Medium body that is a bit course, grainy. Moderate carbonation. Malts and body seemed unrefined. Could have used a bit more hop presence.

This seemed to be around the strip alot, which was cool, but i was not a fan. It had a strange yeasty flavor that didnt give it a good texture either. Some more hops may have killed that - this seemed to be dominated by caramel.

Draft in Planet Hollywood, Las Vegas. Pours clear amber color with a moderate frothy white head that was mostly lasting with fair lacing. Moderate sweet malty aroma. Medium body with little carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of an average duration. My expectation where not met with a soft beer.

On draught in the Miracle Mile shops inside Planet Hollywood. Poured a clear amber color with a thin off white head. The aroma was bland, with only a slight hint of caramel. The flavor was good, though not typical of the style. Smooth malty base with a slight bitterness in the finish.

Draught at Sin City. Not really a good fest beer. Rather boring and it had an odd sourness to the flavour and finish. Drinkable but not right for the style and not something I would order again. Try the hefe or dry stout.

On tap at Sin City’s MicroBrew Bar in the Miracle Mile shops of Planet Hollywood. The only thing amber about this beer was the color. Otherwise it was very watery in texture with a slight hoppy aftertaste. Not a very exciting beer but it is still drinkable.
