| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Sep 11, 2006 This draft brew from the brewery poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized bubbles that was mostly diminishing and left behind a transparent typically carbonated copper orange colored body and a poor lacing. The mild aroma was malty and sweet. The mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish. The thin metallic flavor contained notes of malt astringent and sweet. Not one that I would likely buy again. PorterPounder (3147), Tallahassee, Florida, USA

Fresh lake water aroma, medium orange pour with a soft white head. Some citrusy notes are found with a hint of caramel. Some ripening vegetable notes in the back end. Decently thick mouthfeel with some stickiness. Pleasant diversion. TheBeerLover (1019), DC Metro Area, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Aug 1, 2006 Sampled this one on draught at the Sin City Brewing Company, which is not a brewery, but a draught oulet in the Aladin Hotel and Casino’s Desert Passage Mall. The beer is actually brewed at Gordon Biersch Las Vegas. This beer is a marzen/Oktoberfest by style, and it is a decent, domestic example of one. Pours to a beautiful, bright, amber color, with a thick white head, and a good carbonation. The nose on this beer is inviting, with some nice aromas of toasty and nutty malt, paired with light hints of grassy hops. The palate is smooth and clean, with some good flavor of toasty and nutty malt. This beer finishes with more toasty and nutty malt up front, then ends with some good grassy hop bitterness to balance this beer out. A pretty straight foward example of marzen. Not the type of beer that is going to make a beer geek sit up and spin, but one a beer lover could enjoy. I would have liked a touch more malt character, but this being Vegas, and with the blazing heat, I enjoyed the fact that this beer was so drinkable, and still delivered some character and flavor. Worth a try if you are in Vegas. dwyerpg (2545), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 3/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Apr 9, 2006 On tap at the strip in Vegas. Pours a good dark clear copper color like an Amber should. This was a medium bodied, in fact, all body and very little taste. elnadeau (786), Laguna Niguel, California, USA
| 1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 3/20 | Oct 24, 2005 On tap at a "pub" at the Rio in Vegas. Why call this an amber? Aroma was somewhat light when first arrived cold, but soon became overwhelming with a sickly icky tone as it warmed. The flavor could not escape the odor, which my wife described as rancid-spit. I tried, but could not get close enough to it to finish the pint. CharmCityHops (12), Maryland, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 27, 2005 I also had it at the airport while waiting for the plane. I thought that it was a good choice, since it wasn’t a macro and they make a tasty stout. Pretty bad, with a bad hop mixture and chalky malt. O’fest? I guess it was better than Bud Light, but $6 a pint is horrid.. pjk33 (384), Sligo - Curllsville Heights, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 9, 2005 Draught. At Las Vegas Airport. I think it made me queasy. Color was sort of amber and the body was creamy and decently thick. Very malty without much hop flavor. Not a great beer, but certainly better than most tap beers at the airport.
