Commercial Description:
A traditional Irish Dry Stout, Sin City Stout is a strong beer at 6% alcohol by volume. It is a full, richly flavored beer with a roasted, coffee-like taste and a hint of chocolate balanced with an abundant hop profile that delivers a satisfying dry finish. A thick creamy head rests on top and holds the rich roasted aromatic qualities in the glass. This is truly the darker side of sin!

Draft at PH, Las Vegas shop. Poured dark brown color with an average creamy light brown head that was mostly lasting with fair lacing. Moderate roasted coffee and small chocolate aroma. Medium body and dry smooth texture. Medium sweet flavor with a medium roasted sweet finish of moderate duration. Good drinkable stout.

Draught @ Flamingo hotel Sin City brewery. Large fin creamy good looking head. Fair display of lacework. Black color. Aroma of mild roasted malt, mild chocolate and coffee. Over the palate came again hint of cold coffee and mild roasted feel of malt. Medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Moderated sweet flavor with some counter bitterness. Roasted malty finish.

On tap: Dark burgundy-brown color was nice; thinnish head. Creamy, lightish texture. Sweet and chewy malt flavors (caramel, milk chocolate, tar). Nice roast and toast. Hint of sourness was a pleasant touch. Good, easy-drinkin’ stout.

If you are a competent and commited brewer, I figure it’s hard to go wrong with a stout (just don’t scrimp on the ingredients and you’ll be okay). This is a fine example. Dark chestnut, thin brown head. Earthy aroma with coffee and roast, a little bitter chocolate maybe but not much sweetness. Medium bodied and smooth.

The brewer brought this in to our tasting, and being the first ale he’s done in years I think he did quite well. Pretty roasty with chocolate and cofee aroma, but apparantly there isn’t any chocolate malt in it, so that’s pretty roasty. A nice dry stout.

on tap @ Monte Carlo. just what you’d imagine a nitrous tap stout to look like. dark black, thick tan cappucino tan head, calm, microscopic bubbles. Perfect. Roasted malt aroma. roasted flavor. coffee. very watery texture to it. some one must have stole the Guiness recipe for this "clone"!

On tap. Pours a dark brown, with a medium tan head. Creamy appearance. Aroma was a little hard to smell; some roasted malt and light chocolate aroma. Flavor was decent with a nice creamy body. Some coffee, roasted malt and some chocolate.
