Commercial Description:
What’s Las Vegas without a little vice? Our traditional German Hefeweizen, Sin City Weisse, is an unfiltered, straw-colored wheat beer with a low hop profile that features a distinct clove aroma and citrus undertones. Originally a summer brew at 4.5% alcohol by volume, it’s a perfect fit for our Las Vegas climate.

On tap at Sin City in the Flamingo. Pours a hazy gold with a medium white head. Wheat, fruit, lemon, and coriander on the nose. Flavor is bananas, and a light plastic off-note. More bananas and plastic on the finish.

Had this on tap at the Miracle Mile location a couple of years ago after a Hawaii vacation and stopping in Las Vegas. So full of banana flavor it almost tastes false and/or added... wasn’t a big fan of most of their stuff, but a cool place to visit.

Enjoyed at the Flamingo brewpub. A deliciously sweet and, well, decadent aroma is banana, clove, and spice. Served too cold. Flavor is very much the same as the aroma. Feel is very creamy and rich. This is very sweet, almost cloyingly so. Almost certainly the sweetest weiss I have had. It makes for a great Vegas beer. My favorite of their 4 offerings.

Draught @ Flamingo hotel Sin City brewery. Average creamy white head that mostly diminished. Spare display of lacework. Cloudy almost yellow golden color. Aroma of yeast, citrus, banana and mixed fruity notes as well. I have had better Hefeweizen but it is not that bad. Light to medium bodied with an average carbonation. Light to medium sweet flavor with a hint of acidic. Light fruity banana and citrus finish.

On tap at Planet Hollywood, in a lovely glass cup. Golden in color, a bit cloudy. Aroma of yeast, wheat with some banana and musty fruit. Flavor was the same with some good sweetness. and clove. some light citrus. Definitely a big step up from their amber.

Draft at PH, Las Vegas . Poured cloudy yellow color with an average fizzy white head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Moderate banana, clove and citrus aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture. Medium sweet flavor with a solid sweet wheat finish of moderate duration. Good refreshing brew.
