The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel, and so is the flavor, leading to a dry bitter finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing. Papsoe (15103), Frederiksberg, Denmark

Very dark red / brown color with a small head. Weak aroma of musty yeast and some hops. Boring. Ok flavour, hops, nuts, ginger. Hops in the medium-long finish.

| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Nov 25, 2005 Bottled. Reddish brown colour, big foamy head. Metallic sweet aroma with alcoholic hints. Maltyness and hoppyness, quite a boring "xmas beer", which actually down’t give any exceitements. One-dimensional and I would almost say "typical Finnish crap" of this one... Nice amber color and cloudy off-white head, lace. Typical sharp metallic Koff-nose. No Saazer-hops found here. Malty with attacking harsh alcohol flavor with light sugar notes. Long bitter (and harsh) aftertaste. Unbalanced. bierkoning (6077), La Tropica, Netherlands
