This is a beer with a smooth feel on the tongue, and a strong honey-aroma and flavour. The honey is complementing this beer, not ruining it. It looks hazy but a bit more yellow than your typical wheat beer. Niiice surprice from Finland. mabjork (580), Vasa, Finland

The smell of honey is strongly present in the aroma I’m wonderin wheater or not it is oats or malt that I’m smelling or if I’m fooled by the name? It has a sweet honeylike taste with malt. I like it, quite superb really. TET (246), Finland

Have I tried this before apart from oatmeal stouts? Hmmm, don’t really remember - but they’re definately not common. But disappointingly this isn’t really that different from an ordinary lager. But the honey-notes are indeed pronounced and very delicious. Gets better and a bit more unusual the more you get into this. Rather amusing that the commercial description claims barley to be a "rarely used" malt. Well, I’ve got news for you fellers.... 160405 kook (2034), Perth, Western Australia, Australia

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 6, 2004 Updated: Nov 22, 2006(Bottled) Hazy golden color with a medium, foamy, lasting and nicely lacy head. Sweet, but quite natural aroma of honey. The flavor is also sweet and very honeyish, with low bitterness and very little room for the oat. Medium-bodied, quite thick and syrupy palate with medium carbonation. There’s certainly more than a "hint" of honey in this one! Not that bad in small doses, despite the sweetness.
(Bottled, was 5-2-5-2-9=2.3) Slightly hazy, paleish golden color with a medium, quite thick and tight head. Strong, sweet honey completely dominates the aroma. Sweetish honey flavor almost completely hides the oat, but the taste is quite pleasant and balanced. Light to medium-bodied, sticky and sugary palate with medium, quite soft carbonation. There is the same characteristic, chocolatey aroma in this, the 4.1 and the Vahva Pääsiäisolut - don’t know it it’s the yeast or what. A quite drinkable and respectable effort from Sinebrychoff. I hope this one stays in production longer than the Weizze.
