brunnsbe (53), Helsinki, Finland Sep 16, 2004 Koff Draught reminds me of how Koff III used to taste a few years ago, a little more malty aroma compared to today’s Koff III. But the difference is hardly noticable. I do not understand why Sinebrychoff makes an anniversary beer that cannot be distinguished from their normal lager. sayravai (3720), Helsinki, Finland Sep 14, 2004 Very clear, golden color with small head. Slightly sweet and sugary, lightly flowery and malty aroma. Sweetish, moderately malty and slightly Koff-skunky hopped flavor. Round, light to medium-bodied palate with medium carbonation. Slightly maltier and softer than Koff III, but quite an uninteresting brew overall. Jukkabro (2981), Tampere, Finland Sep 5, 2004 Malty aroma with notes of sweetness. Little bit of metallic flavor is mildly disturbing, otherwise flavor is usual like in basic lagers: mildly malty and hopped. Body is somehow softer than in standard Koff III version. Crispy bite from carbonation and hops come up in the end. TBone (6675), Pori, Finland Sep 3, 2004 Can (BB 02/2005)
Name is misleading, "Draught" is the brand of beer sold in cans.
Lager color, a bit darkish yellow, small white head, lace. Typical Koff nose: harsh and metallic, some sweet malts. Malty, rounded, cracker-like palate. A bit sweet flavor. Malty and bready, slightly oily aftertaste. Nothing special but more interesting than normal Koff III or IV beers.
