The aroma is sweet and acidic with notes of malt and straw. The flavor is malty with notes of cardboard, dusty hops, and brewing cereal, leading to a dry finish. The body is thin. Very subdued aroma, thin and watery with basically no malty feel. No hops - not much of anything really. 080408 yespr (12404), Copenhagen O, Denmark
| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Apr 16, 2008 33 cL bottle, comes as Hanassa Koff. Pours clear and pale yellow with a fully diminished white head. Mild grainy and cornish aroma. Flavour is bland and watery, gladly because the cardboard otherwise would have been too dominant. oh6gdx (9047), Vasa, Finland
| 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | May 4, 2005 Bottled. Yellow colour, decent foamy white head, which disappears almost completely (and fast). Strong breadish malty nose with hints of sweetness. Sweet malty flavour with breadish finish and aftertaste. Rich carbonation. Watery. Boring. KimJohansen (7131), Copenhagen V, Denmark

Typical pale lager color with small white head. Metallic "Koff-nose", a bit rubbery. Watery, very carbonated, some malts in body and late bitterness. Mouthfeel is thin but otherwise a decent low alcohol beer because this one does not differ much from normal Koff lager. sayravai (3760), Helsinki, Finland
| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Mar 11, 2004 Updated: Nov 11, 2006(Bottled) Golden color with a small, instantly and almost completely fading head. Sweetish, slightly acidic, corny-malty and slightly buttery aroma with rubbery toffee and vanilla hints. Mildly grainy-malty flavor with a hint of somewhat harsh hops in the quickly fading finish. Acidic, slightly stingy aftertaste. Light-bodied, a bit watery palate with smooth carbonation. Not as bad as it was the last time. More flavor than in Lapin Kulta, but also more harsh.
(Bottled, rated Mar 11, 2004, was 1-1-2-1-2=0.7) Typical lager color, completely vanishing head. Slightly hopped, rubbery-skunky aroma. Next-to-none flavor, slightly bitter finish. Very carbonated, light-bodied palate. In a way, it’s better than Koff III, since the aroma/taste is not so bad. However, since this one won’t even get you drunk, I have no choice but to give it a lower overall score (since that’s all Koff is good for). FatPhil (3483), Espoo, Finland

At least as much flavour as the Koff - III, and preferable to it. Richer bready maltiness. I recommend mixing this 50/50 with an IVA for something as strong as III, but much tastier. Very weak, but some beery malt aroma. A bit fizzy. Watery. Taste is some malt, not much hops. Slight wheat grain finish.
