Sweet aroma with slight bitterness and something vaguely drainpipeish, if you know what I mean.
Typical mass produced pale lager aroma. Somewhat metallic aftertaste. Boring, but certainly not as watery as many of its kin. Chevboy (37), Millgrove, Ontario, Canada

Had this in-flight on FinnAir, where I thought it was a "Koff Special." Ho-Hum. Another country’s same old pale lager. Smell is skunky, sugary and adjuncty. Strange rocky head over a straw body. There’s something in the taste that says "malt," but it also says "clean out the fermenter!" Nasty yeast smell, too. pink10speed (6), oakland, ca, California, USA does not count | 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Apr 3, 2005 nothing magnificent here.
this is the thing i learned to drink beer with in finland. since it’s not in my reach anymore, i do get some cravings for it every once in a while in the midst of dark microbrews.
basic finnish lager.

Bottled. Among the 200 first beers I rated. So now, about 1500 beers laters (and a lot of crap lager) I actually apprecialte this one. Yellowish golden colour, with small creamy head. Very smoothly done brew with mainly malts and hops in both aroma and flavour. No erraneous flavour os aromas even if it gets warm. Wellbalanced mix of malts and hops, and easy to drink. Not harsh hoppy like Karjala f.i.. Plain, maybe watery, but very clean. Not giving a "medium"score between new and old ratings for this one, since I have had lots of it lately and I think it deserves a good rating, though I’m not a big lager fan... beethoven82 (6), Turku, Finland does not count | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Mar 1, 2005 When I first tasted beer, I liked this one, but now I find it quite flat.
