Messed up wierd syrup looking plastic bottle. Deep amber color, pretty surprising, I didn’t expect actual color out of a low alcohol. Anyway, funky minerally apple juice character prevades throughout. Bland, and kind of bad. Thin, flat palate. Not good. Oh well.

Taste:sugar, dark roasted malts, bit nuts. carbonated This has been part of my family Christmas dinner table almost 40 years.. We voted it out year ago and bought porter and lager instead. overrated maybe, but part of my childhood memories.

Jun 7, 2008 Coppery-orange beer with small white head. Aroma is very mildly caramel malty, practically none. Flavor is sweet malty and metallic. Aftertaste is sweet and sugary. Palate is light-bodied and bit carbonated

Brown plastic bottle(500ml). -Reddish brown coloured, small white head, caramel and toffee nose. Weak malty and sugary taste with notes of yeast and cardboard. Some odd raspberrynotes in the aftertaste.
