33 cL bottle (as Siam Gold). Pours clear golden yellow with a white head. Aroma is slight grassy and fruity nose. Flavour is soft hoppy flavoured, soft malty base. Dry bitter finish. Quite decent for a pale lager and goes fantastic to spiced Thai food.

Originally reviewed back on 12/15/02. Received 2.4 score. Added to my RB list to check "Thailand" as a beer country consumed. Another rotating beer in my Thai restaurant trips. Super-sweet flavors and corny aromas. Drinkable as it quiets some of the heat from Thai food.

Bottle. Pale yellow colour with a short lasting bubbly white head. Bitter-sweet malty aroma. The flavour has a nice maltiness and hop bitterness. Short but pleasant bitter aftertaste. I prefer this one compared to the normal Singha.

Bottle at a Thai restaurant in Gothenburg, Sweden.
My version had 4.8% ABV, but I’m guessing it’s the same.
Light golden color with a big white head that was almost creamy. Malty scent and a malty sweet taste. MEdium body. Works well with Thai food, but nothing I’d buy for good taste alone.

What can you say? Crappy light version of their "premium" lager. Light malt sweetness and no (zero) detectable hop bitterness.

Bottle. Creamy white good mostly deminishing head. Yellow colour. Nice malty aroma, but thin flavor, OK palate.
