yespr (11613), Copenhagen O, Denmark Sep 6, 2007 33 cL bottle (as Siam Gold). Pours clear golden yellow with a white head. Aroma is slight grassy and fruity nose. Flavour is soft hoppy flavoured, soft malty base. Dry bitter finish. Quite decent for a pale lager and goes fantastic to spiced Thai food. 19641948 (492), Greensboro, North Carolina, USA Aug 7, 2007 Updated: Aug 21, 2007Originally reviewed back on 12/15/02. Received 2.4 score. Added to my RB list to check "Thailand" as a beer country consumed. Another rotating beer in my Thai restaurant trips. Super-sweet flavors and corny aromas. Drinkable as it quiets some of the heat from Thai food. faroeviking (6016), Republica Vikingo de las, Faroe Islands Dec 1, 2006 Bottle. Pale yellow colour with a short lasting bubbly white head. Bitter-sweet malty aroma. The flavour has a nice maltiness and hop bitterness. Short but pleasant bitter aftertaste. I prefer this one compared to the normal Singha.
RobertGBG (109), Göteborg, Sweden Sep 4, 2006 An slight smell and taste of wood or cardboard, lot of carbonation, yellow with a white head. bitter (1137), Henderson, Nevada, USA Jul 12, 2006 i had to have this just because it wasnt the regular singha. saw it on a menu in chiang mai. typical golden effervesent lightly malted beer with a bitter flange end. gnoff (3559), Göteborg, Sweden Mar 6, 2006 Bottle at a Thai restaurant in Gothenburg, Sweden. My version had 4.8% ABV, but I’m guessing it’s the same. Light golden color with a big white head that was almost creamy. Malty scent and a malty sweet taste. MEdium body. Works well with Thai food, but nothing I’d buy for good taste alone. RAYBOY01 (1812), Chicago, Illinois, USA Feb 26, 2006 What can you say? Crappy light version of their "premium" lager. Light malt sweetness and no (zero) detectable hop bitterness. HenrikSoegaard (4260), Randers, Denmark Feb 14, 2006 Bottle. Creamy white good mostly deminishing head. Yellow colour. Nice malty aroma, but thin flavor, OK palate.
