(Bottle 35,5 cl) Where I come from a "Gold" is usually a stronger lager, but with this beer it’s the other way around. "Singha Gold" is paler in colour and lighter in alcohol than the standard "Singha". Less hoppy, less body and probably also less calories. But still pretty high in carbonation. Still a rather pleasant lager though. 181103

33 cL bottle (as Siam Gold). Pours clear golden yellow with a white head. Aroma is slight grassy and fruity nose. Flavour is soft hoppy flavoured, soft malty base. Dry bitter finish. Quite decent for a pale lager and goes fantastic to spiced Thai food.

Bottled. Pale golden with small head. Fruity, lightly grassy nose. Clean, rounded maltiness and some light hoppy bitterness. Better than the regular Singha.

Bottled. Pale golden colour, bubbly white mediumsized head. Malty aroma with hints of mint (!). Malty flavour with vegetably notes. Bitter finish. Refreshing, but still like a little brother to Singha.

Light gold colour. Fruity-hoppy flavour (lime, pineapple, grass) with light malt notes underneath. Balanced, decent lager.

Blond color, artificial foam, big bubbles. Sweet, cheap, malt aroma; shandy. Lightly sweet body, not interesting, with a point of malt. Poor final. Very simple.

Lager color, small white head, some lace. Light sweet malt aroma. Plain, light, watery sweet malt lager without any hop character. Boring.

Bottle. Pale yellow colour with a short lasting bubbly white head. Bitter-sweet malty aroma. The flavour has a nice maltiness and hop bitterness. Short but pleasant bitter aftertaste. I prefer this one compared to the normal Singha.
