| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Aug 15, 2008 A fairly refreshing beer. I wouldn’t say it’s a good beer, but better than most American pilsners. Pershing (151), Garland, Texas, USA
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Aug 10, 2008 Pale yellow with a small white head. Sweet grainy taste with lots of carbonation. This beer may go good with Thai food but it’s not a stand alone beer. GAManiac (1210), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 3, 2008 Pours pale yellow with a bubbly white head that hung around for a while leaving no lacing. The smell is fairly skunky with everything you’d expect in a macro lager - light malts and some grain. The taste was slighter better for me with a slight sweetness on top of the typical grain and malt macro taste. Mouthfeel was light and fairly thin. This one actually wasn’t too bad with my Thai meal and drinkability was pretty good. Not sure if I’d order it again though. phishpond417 (1953), Madison, Wisconsin, USA
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 1/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Jul 28, 2008 This beer pours a bright golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is slightly hopped, but for the most part taste is a watery and dry at times with a little extra maltiness. iammarc (193), Inverness, Scotland
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 28, 2008 Could be better, but tastes similar to other Aisan Lagers. Probably at best accompanying a Thai/Far Eastern based meal. thechandler (271), Morgantown, West Virginia, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jul 16, 2008 Pours a golden yellow. Smell is sweet, but light. Flavor is surprisingly full. Much more malt flavor than I’d expected. Flavor is more along the lines of an amber than a golden lager, really. A little bit of hoppy bitterness. This is probably (and VERY surprisingly, compared to the other Asian brews that I’ve had) one of the best import lagers that I’ve had. Not amazing, but very good for what it is.
Just FYI, this bottle is labeled as 6.0 ABV, and filled on 03-07-07, and I’m drinking it on 07-16-08, so the lack of skunkiness and just general bad taste is remarkable. dalekliz (546), San Diego, California, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jul 16, 2008 Bottle. Pours a clear light yellow with a small white head that fades. Very light yeasty malt aroma. Sweet taste of yeast and fruit, hint of hops. Light lingering yeast flavor. Not very good. Haslinger (666), Syracuse, New York, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jul 13, 2008 On tap at the Empire State Brew Fest in Syracuse. Very sweet smelling nose, almost sickly sweet taste, definite sweet malt. Better than most imports I have had from Asia but I would not buy again
