Has an excellent balance of hops to malt, pleasant fresh nose and hoppy aftertaste. This is another very good pale lager, but then again that is my favorite type of beer. The more lager I drink the less I like ales, except for kristall and hefe weizenbeers. hughie (3087), Bedford, Bedfordshire, England
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Apr 8, 2007 A biased rating because I consumed this bottle immediately after mowing the lawn. Thus it tasted quite good. Golden colour with a white head. Yeasty aroma. Sharp metallic taste, refreshing and bitter. yeeowww (2), USA does not count | 5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 5/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 20/20 | Apr 3, 2007 my favorite beer! i drink 2 to 4 large bottles a day. very unique and one of a kind. the largest selling beer in thailand for over 60 years! go singha (no matter what some other rubes may write). Clear yellow - white head. Corn, sweetness, light alcoholic, some grassy notes, light light pepper. hogan873 (334), Joliet, Illinois, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Mar 24, 2007 I’ve tried this beer on several occasions at the spectacular Thai Room restaurant in Kill Devil Hills, NC. I always thought it was a good complement to the spicy food. I recently tried one by itself and found that it really does go better with the food. Pours a pale amber with a thin white head. Lots of hops in the aroma. Taste is okay with some grassy sweetness. A decent beer to go with spicy food...that’s about it. ekstedt (2456), Göteborg, Sweden
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 23, 2007 Bottle. Pale clear golden, medium white head. Grainy malts, slighlty acidic, with a touch of green apples and some faint hops. Quite smooth for a pale lager. Nice balance between malt sweetness with a touch of alcohol , and a decent bitterness. | 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Mar 23, 2007 Bottle (@ the inventively named ’King and I’ Thai restaurant). Sweet grainy malt and hints of grassy hops. This wasnt awful but the sweet grainyness became more apparent as I drank and swamped anything else. Maverick34 (729), New York, USA
