Feb 2, 2007 I’ve read where this is classified as a ’strong pilsner’. I can see the comparison but I’m just not impressed. Too bland at the beginning and too hoppy at the end.

Jan 26, 2007 Draft. Pale yellow color with a small white head. Tatse is very bland, watery, and light. Tastes like a Bud Light. The only Thai beer I’ve ever had that I can remember and very disappointing.

Jan 25, 2007 Bottle - January 2007. Pale straw color with vivid carbonatation and a white head that diminishes. Aroma is some skunk and herbs.
Taste is very watery, bland, some malt but almost non existant. Mouthfeel is medium., bland, no aftertaste to speak of. I guess it goes down well in that Thai tropical climate.

Jan 25, 2007 Pale yellow-gold with a fluffy white head. Light aromas of sweet bready pale malts. Fruity flavors of grains and malts balance out the bitter hops on the finish. Crisp and easy to drink.

Jan 13, 2007 Pours a clear gold color, with effervescent carbonation providing a thin white head of foam. No lacing. Mildly sulpherous aroma, not too unpleasant, but not too appealing either.
To me, this tastes similar to a eurolager - something like Stella or Heineken - though I think it has a little bit of a Czech pilsener influence to it as well in the hop character and the crisp dry finish.
Light body, good carbonation, a little spicy hops in the aftertaste.

Jan 11, 2007 Had this one during the Pats game, and if they weren’t winning it would have spit this beer out in disgust. Aparently thailand tried to copy an american lager but not a sam adams, more like a busch. Very bitter, grainy but light. Had a very unrefiend taste to it. worse than colt 45.

Jan 11, 2007 A pale golden lager with no head. Slightly metallic hop nose, and a little bit minerally.The taste is dry, citrusy hop and slightly metallic, with a trace of malt. The finish is weak. (Bottle - The Thai Orchid, King’s Lynn, Norfolk).

Yellow colour, big thick head that went away at a medium pace. The nose iz malty and dusty.. not all that bad. I’ve had far worse lagers than this a fine hopiness rounds off a fine, but weak fruity maltiness. Crude herbal, and just a touch metallic hoppy aftertaste. Ok, but not all that balanced. Better than I thought it’d be. A passable hoppy higher alc lager from Thailand.... who would’ve thought. Way underrated by many.
